Editions & authenticity

How we document our work — honestly. Kex Art issues an edition record with every purchase. It is a truthful description of the edition, not a certificate implying a hand-made original.

What the edition record includes

  • Title of the work
  • Size and surface (paper or canvas)
  • Medium — stated as AI-generated digital art
  • Edition number (e.g. 3 of 25) and edition size
  • Date of issue and the Kex Art studio mark

How editions work

Most works are released as limited editions of a fixed number. Prints are numbered in the order they’re made. When the last number in an edition is sold, the edition is permanently closed and no more are produced. Some pieces are offered as open editions, which is always stated on the artwork.

What the record does not claim

We want to be completely clear: the edition record confirms the print’s place in its edition and that the work is AI-generated. It is not a certificate of authenticity for a hand-painted original, because these works are not hand-painted. We don’t issue documents that imply otherwise.

Reselling

You’re free to resell a print you own. Passing on the edition record helps the next owner — just note that copyright and reproduction rights remain with Kex Art (see Terms).
